Physical Therapy Joined with Integrative Bodywork

Blends therapeutic exercise with relaxation, body awareness, self-management, and massage to change harmful movement patterns and improve function

Lisa earned her masters degree in Physical Therapy in 1986 from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons, Program in Physical therapy. Since then, she has pursued a career in physical therapy that has taken her from New York, to Philadelphia, Chicago, and Boston.

Lisa has been fortunate to have worked with some of the best pain management teams in the northeast, including those at The Orthopaedic Institute in New York City, Magee Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia, and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston.

Lisa has an extensive background in bodywork, including several hundred hours of continuing education in the Feldenkrais Method® approach. Lisa maintains close clinical relationships with Physicians, Physical and Occupational Therapists, Feldenkrais Practitioners and other body workers in the Boston area.

Lisa has completed an innovative 200 hour yearlong program of advanced training in integrative bodywork combining deep tissue release with movement re-education.

Lisa is available by appointment only.
Current office hours are Mon, Wed, Fri 9:00 am - 2:30 pm.

  
As of July 1, 2007, Lisa will no longer be accepting insurance.  Receipts and assistance in obtaining reimbursement will be provided.
