Core Integration/Feldenkrais Approach to Walking

 

Tuesdays 

May 30-June 20 (4 weeks)

This program is designed to help you get your minimal daily requirement of movement through walking--the most beneficial of all exercises, the best and most available way to meet your body’s needs, maintain, and improve, body posture using exercises in awareness through movement, the six primary pathways, and "core strengthening”.  

Learn to walk efficiently, improve spine mobility, elevate aging posture (from too much sitting) and eliminate unnatural knee, hip and back pain. 

Improve posture, maintain fitness and health using efficient movement patterns   from sitting to walking.

 

The Core Integration/Feldenkrais approach helps you learn how to move and walk and come out much better, pain-free. It includes principles and practices from  Feldenkrais, Pilates, Yoga, Qigong, and helps you develop the foundations of good movement

 

A new DVD, Core Integration (80 min.) is available to be used as the practice text material for this course. And/or a CD on Walking lessons. (in-class cost  reduction) See video clip on website: www.dellagrotte-somatic.com                   

 

 (Trial basis option: attend May 30 class for $15. ) Bring floor mat, pillow, and good walking shoes.
